Financial Donations

Shining Light Theater is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization (EIN #33-3595650). Your financial gifts are tax-deductible in accordance with the law. There are many costs to consider when we decide to perform a stage production – costs for rehearsal space for two months, performance venue rental, tech equipment rental, advertising costs, set construction, costumes, props, insurance, and fees to secure the theatrical rights and scripts. The participation fees and tickets sales do not cover all of the expenses of our shows. We rely on donations from individuals and businesses in our community, as well as charitable foundations that support our mission, vision, and values. With your generous contribution, Shining Light Theater can plan for future shows and training opportunities for the people in our community to enjoy. We sincerely appreciate each of our donors! Business Sponsorship

We invite your business to partner with us in bringing uplifting, family-friendly, live theater to our community! Our mission is to present Biblical messages, shining God’s light, love, and grace through high-quality productions and training. With your support, people of all ages can experience, participate in, and be inspired by the performing arts. As a show sponsor with a donation of $100 or more, your business will be featured in our beautiful playbill – reaching hundreds of theatergoers who value community, creativity and local businesses like yours. By including your ad or logo in our show’s program, we are able to publicly express our gratitude and your organization will receive excellent exposure to people who want to do business with like-minded, local companies. Foundation Grants

If you are aware of a charitable foundation that would like to support Shining Light Theater’s mission and operational needs, please let us know! We are eager to share our vision for the growth of our theater company and the positive impact we have in our community. We can provide our annual report, a grant application, a personal meeting with the executive director and/or board members, and a tour (during show productions). We love to talk with others about the future of Shining Light Theater and our mission. Please help us spread the word about Shining Light Theater in our community and beyond.

Mini-Storage Hero!

To keep operational costs low, we would like to find an empty garage, shed, or basement room that would store our costumes, props, and set pieces. Specifically, we are seeking a gift of secure, dry storage space (approximately 10′ x 20′ or larger) or a financial gift that would cover the cost of renting a mini-storage unit for the coming year or years. If you can help be our mini-storage hero – please contact us! This is currently one of our vital needs. (estimated cost of public mini-storage is $2,400 per year)

Watch Party Sponsor!

One month after each show, we like to gather our cast, crew, and volunteers to celebrate a show well done and watch the video of our production! This is typically a pizza feast/reunion/watch party and lots of fun! Specific needs usually include: a location that can host at least 50-100 people (church, party room, other) and/or financial gift for the pizzas and dessert. (estimated cost of hosting a watch party is about $200-300)

Tech Assist!

Buying microphones (face mics) for the actors would be a huge gift! The cost of rental for these essential tech items is high and it is a cost that constantly increases over time. Someday we hope to own our own sound equipment, so that we can reduce or eliminate the heavy cost of renting several times each year. (estimated cost: $5,000 +)

Printer Patron!

We desire eye-catching, colorful posters for advertising our shows and high-quality playbills. The cost of printing is a challenge for us. We would be so grateful to have a partner who will help us with these costs for one show (or more!). (estimated cost: $300 per show)
